Although the Hub Rug was originally created to fulfill the needs of a Portuguese rug manufacturer in regards to showing off their wares in an optimal manner, it has now been refined into an actual carpet. Inspired by traditional color swatches, the Hub Rug is modern, playful and full of character.
Created by Portuguese product designer Rita Botelho, the Hub Rug was recently displayed at Dutch Design Week to the delight of the show-goers. Following a strong and vibrant visual theme, the Hub Rug would certainly complement just about any living space, especially since it is available in three different arrangements: full-circle, semi-circle and a pie-shaped quarter circle. Yes, the Hub Rug may look rearrangeable, but each of them are actually static.
