These House of Suntory whiskies have been debuted as a series of expressions for discerning spirit fans alike to add to their bar as a way to commemorate a special occasion. The spirits include the Yamasaki Single Malt Whiskey that has been aged in mizunara oak barrels for 18 years to impart a rich flavor profile that includes notes of dark cherry and peach on the nose before notes of spice, orangette and Japanese incense on the palate. The Hakushu Single Malt Whiskey is also being offered as a peated malt variety that features sage, pineapple and green apple on the nose with acacia, grapefruit, peat smoke and honey on the palate.
The celebratory House of Suntory whiskies are positioned as luxury options only for discerning sippers due to their high price point starting at $1,200.
