The Hostess Munchie Mobile is a new marketing activation from the brand that's arriving in celebration of the cannabis culture holiday 4/20 as a way to maintain consumer attention, but also pivot towards a slightly more edgy persona.

The marketing activation sees the Munchie Mobile giving out Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Donettes in the weeks ahead as part of the lead-up to April 20. Snackers looking to get their hands on the free snacks can do so by looking out for the vehicle in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Maryland. The vehicle will be strategically parked outside of cannabis dispensaries starting at 4:20pm and will be delivering sweet treats for six hours on 4/20 when parked in Brooklyn, New York.

The Hostess Munchie Mobile could help to give the brand a competitive edge and help to transition it into a new era that isn't tied solely to a family-focused ethos.
