This small holiday cabin provides the comfort and amenities needed for a quiet escape.
The rural home is quite small at only 215 square meters in size, but includes two floors and a covered porch. With large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the holiday cabin, visitors feel as though they are fully immersed in the surrounding Quebec forestry. The interior of the home is adorned with cedar wood panels. With the light-colored wood covering kitchen amenities, walls and even ceilings, the space looks much more open and spacious. Design studio Atelier Pierre Thibault ensured that every part of the home would be as bright as possible by cutting a hole in the floor to allow light to enter the basement.
