From the outside, the Hill Plain House may look fairly modest, but its austere exterior is rather refreshing. Forgoing all the pompous and flair that many other homes exhibit, this studly structure knows exactly how to make a statement by, well, not really making one at all. That is, of course, until you go inside.
Designed by Wolveridge Architects, the Hill Plain House is definitely more than meets the eye. Based in Victoria, Australia, this homely residence is much more refined inside than its rugged outer appearance eludes to at first. With polish wood furniture, smooth brick walls and pops of canary yellow, the Hill Plain House definitely has a contemporary design that is then reflected in its minimalist exterior. I love the slight retro touch throughout as well.
