The Here After installation was created by the graphic designers Craig & Karl, who revamped a gas station to suit the vivid, borderline psychedelic style they have become known for.
The area in which the gas station is located is being redeveloped into a residential neighborhood, and so the designers chose to give the station a retro look inspired by the "retro test cards" that BBC (which was once located in the area) used to air between its shows. The resulting Here After installation reveals a once-used gas station in bright colors, with neon signs and large arrows making up most of the design.
