Ilona Gaynor wants to complete a bank heist plot but doesn't have the funds so she decided to go to Kickstarter with 'Under Black Carpets.' Since robberies are obviously an expensive endeavor, Gaynor needs the funds to complete the plans of a "meticulously calculated bank heist of 5 banks." Gaynor claims that Under Black Carpets is strictly an art project and that no banks will be robbed using the plans. However, the plot will still be meticulously calculated with models, technical drawings and other multimedia visualizations.
The theme of the exhibition as a result of Gaynor's research will be a police investigation. Every piece of material will be something that can be used as evidence against a bank robber in a court. If the project is successful, it will be revealed as a solo exhibition.
