The Handy App for Cleaning Lets People Foster Cats to Get Rid of Mice

From plumbing and electrical work to painting, the Handy app is a place where users can book cleaning and other household services on-demand. Now, in partnership with the animal charity Wood Green, Handy has a new batch of professionals available for work that are excellent at keeping pests at bay.
Through Handy, Londoners will now be able to book a cat to foster for free. As well as helping to rid homes of mice infestations, the partnership also helps to bring awareness to more than 200 cats who are in need of new homes. By getting the cats out of the shelter, Handy's UK manager Pete Dowds notes: "We hope that Londoners will fall in love with some of the attractive mousers that come to stay: potentially turning temporary residences into permanent ones as a result."
