This eerie Halloween themed video was created by Behance user Yu Qin. The project was done for her class to practice digital animation and sound effects. The end result is a creepy reel of a dark moonlit graveyard full of glowing pumpkins. Nothing really happens in the video but it gives you a sense of anticipation as you wait for something to jump out and scare you out of your skin.
The colors play a significant part to this scary animation. The pumpkins are painted purple so as their insides glow bright orange, there's a strange sense of something unnatural and unusual. The unfamiliar positioning of all the pumpkins in a graveyard also add to this feeling of unfamiliarity and suspense. The moon glows on the yard, being the only main source of light other than the eerie pumpkin faces.
As the camera moves forward you can't help but shrink up your shoulders in fear.
