Gueridon Ex09 is the unique name of a very unique piece of furniture. It is a side table that may look deceivingly simple at first glance, but is actually incredibly complex -- at least at its heart. The center of the Gueridon Ex09 side table sinks in strangely, giving it an overall alienesque aesthetic to the design.
Designed by Il Hoon Roh, the Gueridon Ex09 side table was interestingly created utilizing a virtual fabric stretching tool which mimics the growth process found in the Radiolaria plankton. From there, the geometry of the table was enhanced by the advanced engineering technology of Altair -- think fighter jets and F1 racing cars. The result is organic and sculptural.
