MODA Unveils the GROW Project with Roof Gardens
Amy Duong — August 20, 2024 — Art & Design
Local architecture studio MODA, also known as the Modern Office of Design + Architecture has introduced a look at the GROW project. The project is in a "seamless milieu that blurs interior and exterior, as well as private and public space." The multifamily housing development is defined by its wood siding and tranquil ramped roof gardens on top.
This is located in Calgary, Canada and the project is comprised of 20 residential units along with an urban farm. The Modern Office of Design + Architecture explains, "In a world where 'housing' is slowly succumbing to a tool of capital, GROW hits the pause button, asking for more of where and how we live communally in urban environments."
