This new Groupon office in Berlin consolidated four separate locations for the company and now serves as the world headquarters for the discount website. Although the building was built in 1889, it is difficult to tell based on the building's vibrant modern furnishings.
The office houses 800 employees, and Groupon had stringent demands for a variety of workspaces. With the exception of a few offices, most of the work area has an open concept. Small private office pods are each given a bright color palette to help define space, while large clear windows help contribute to the openness of the office. Throughout the entire building, colors are used to denote a specific function, so things like copy facilities and kitchens are uniformly matched throughout various floors.
