Fans of Harry Potter looking for an alternative education for their children need look no further than the Grey School of Wizardry. The school is the world's first and is designed to train students in wizard essentials such as wandmaking and beastmastery.
The Grey School of Wizardry is an online school offering seven-year Wizard Journeyman degrees. Oberon Zell-Ravenheart is the headmaster at The Grey School of Wizardry. According to him, enrollment at the school is currently at 735 students, 100 of which are under 18. Ravenheart attributes such a large underage student population to the success and popularity of the Harry Potter books and movies.
The Grey School of Wizardry is currently looking to expand and create an actual campus for students located on the grounds of an old Montana castle. It is tempting to poke fun at this school, but I would like to applaud it instead for giving young people an educational alternative. An education is an essential part of a child's life, whether it's in U.S. history or unicorn history.
