GreenKnickers.org is au natural with the material used in their products (and their comfort with getting skimpy?. Labeled as “fair trade undies for nice people,” GreenKnickers produces women’s panties and men’s boxers from hemp, bamboo and fair trade/organic cotton. In addition to their wearable underwear, the eco-fashion designers-for-a-cause also offer special skivvies for cyclists made from bamboo, (thanks to its soft, breathable, antibacterial nature).

The team behind GreenKnickers, Sarah Lucy Smith (eco designer) and Rose Cleary-Southwood (fashion merchandiser), obviously have a sense of humor as evidenced by their YouTube “flicks.” They started the line to prove that “ethical choices can be funny, beautiful and sexy” and felt that the logical place to start would be knickers.

The designers believe that organic farming and natural choices help to address the issues of exploitation and fairness in the fashion industry. Keeping the environment and fashion top of mind, it’ll feel good to bare it all! Minus the tree suit.
