Greenfood Group in Sweden is building a new production facility and logistics center to manufacture its fresh fruit and vegetables, sandwiches, and wraps to support its European growth. The plant will be based in Helsingborg and will boast 44,000 square meters of space. The town is the Nordic region's largest port for fruit and vegetables and supplies 90% of Swedish consumption.
Greenfood aims to be one of Europe's largest centers for sustainable and healthy food innovation, production, and distribution. Set to complete by 2023, Greenfood's state-of-the-art and environmentally efficient food center will house a range of salads and other vegan products through brands like daily Greens and SallaCarte. These partnerships provide produce to convenience stores and the HoReCa channel.
