Industrial designer David Tonkinson has created a product that targets the demographic of people over fifty, who seems to spend more money on sweets than any other age groups.
The product “GreenBloom - Chocolate Petals to Share” meets the target market and at the same time has an innovative brand design that entices everyone to purchase it.
The 150g of chocolate is molded into petals, then packaged with pulp paper with few transparent windows so people can see the chocolate inside. You can grab each chocolate flower by taking it off the stem and removing the pink covering.
Its distinctive tubular form and metal stem makes it one of my favourite floral designs.
