English Tea Shop worked with Echo Brand Design to create a 100% compostable tea packaging design for its new Whole Leaf Tea range. From the outside, the colorful boxes of premium tea seem to be fairly ordinary but they open in a novel way to create a unique unboxing experience. After the seal is broken and the lid is removed, the box opens up in a theatrical way and unfolds like the petals of a flower. To highlight the design's flower-like shape, colorful mandalas can be seen, which are not only decorative but represent the ingredients of the organic, premium teas.
Inside the packaging, consumers will find that the organic ingredients are paired with a reusable scoop.
