adidas Launches a Retro Sneaker that is the Grand Slam Design
adidas has strong roots in tennis culture and worked with names such as Ros Laver, Robert Haillet, and Stan Smith - the latest launch is a familiar one, which is the Grand Slam. It was launched almost 40 years ago originally and has a traditional tennis colorway that fuses Footwear White with green and off-white.
The shoes are made from a blend of leather and suede materials and have "G.S" branding details at the mid-panel on the lateral side of the shoe. Branding details in the form of Trefoils can be seen on the tongue and along with the adidas scripture that marks the midsole section and the heel. Most notably, the shoes have its signature Vario Shock-Absorption System technology.
