Toyota recently revealed a new GR Yaris RS, which will be exclusive to Japanese markets. The car was showcased with an all-black color, providing a sleek aesthetic. Toyota states that the vehicle will be able online and orders will be fulfilled in September of 2020.
The GR Yaris RS features a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, that produces 118 HP and 109 lb-ft of torque. The vehicles are also equipped with front-wheel drive and a ten-speed Shiftmattic transmission. Toyota states that the transmission will provide enhanced performance when compared to other more powerful versions of the car. Toyota also indicated the GR Yaris RS will be equipped with the same suspension system and breaks found in previous Yaris models.
