Getting Upper is a project in which 26 California-based designers and artists graphically interpret one letter of the alphabet.
The project resulted in 26 limited-edition graphic prints representing the letters of the alphabet. Getting Upper is a captivating and creative project and museum exhibition which explores how graffiti and street art intertwine with typography and the visual deconstruction of images and letters of the alphabet as seen through the artist’s design. Curated by Amos Klausner, the project is currently on display at Pasadena Museum of California Art through September 4, 2011.
Each letter is screen printed with a limited edition of 100 prints and is available to purchase at the museum and online at Getting Upper.
