She put her name in a $10 ‘Win a Date with George Clooney’ charity raffle on Omaze.com. The raffle raised a total of $1.2M. The money raised went to the actors ‘Satellite Sentinel Project for Sudan.' The project helps monitor human rights abuses in the region.
For being the lucky winner, Jean and her eight-year-old daughter had the pleasure of accompanying George to the premiere of his latest film ‘The Monuments Men’ in the big apple. Along with attending the premiere, the mother also had a day of pampering and looking for the perfect outfit. She also got some red carpet 101 lessons from George himself.
Winning a George Clooney date for charity seems like a perfect way to spend an evening to me. Personally, I think more celebrities should do this.
