This Innovative Gatorade Bottle Tracks an Athlete's Hydration Levels

Gatorade has introduced a special Gatorade bottle for the Brazilian National Team that includes a hydration tracking system. It's all well and good to train rigorously for a soccer game, but there are other factors that come in to play, with one of the biggest ones being what a player fuels their body with.
Gatorade has been using Drinkfinity technology, which enables coaches and other staff to work with players on an individual basis for the development of tailored formula—but the only way players will see boosts in performance is to stay hydrated. With a special Gatorage squeeze bottle embedded with a microchip, coaches are sent information in real-time about loss of water and liquid. Armed with this information, it's easy to see why a specific player might be more sluggish than usual and they just might need a reminder to refuel.
Gatorade is continuing to test this innovative bottle, but there is no indication yet when it might be available to the public.
