Architecture studio Penda designed this large botanical building called the Vijayawada Garden Tower. The high-rise residential project uses a beautiful modular effect that reveals alternating gardens.
Each lush garden is presented on a different balcony which creates a checkered pattern. The inspiration for this foliage-covered housing unit came from the idea to create a natural living space. All of the foliage is maintained through the use of a graywater supply system. This system collects rainwater and distributes it to each of the gardens.
The elegant Vijayawada Garden Tower displays a unique way to combine architecture and nature in one cohesive living space. The all-white building is paired well with the abundance of greenery, which also provides each of its tenants with clean air.
