The Gro-ables come pre-loaded with nutrients and enriched soil so that planting them is as easy as can be, whether someone is looking to start up their own lettuce patch, tomato vine or cucumber plant at home. To make shipping as efficient and as eco-friendly as possible, Group 4 also designed a cardboard container for The Scotts Company to ensure that multiple pods are kept safe on their journey. As a result of the clever design for the Miracle-Gro's Gro-able pods, it has been named the 2014 winner of the IDSA Industrial Design Excellence Award.
