'Fuud' is the name of a new Canadian food delivery service that focuses on sharing ready-to-cook kits prepared with seasonal and local farm-to-table ingredients.
Recipes crafted by local chefs are included with every delivery, including flavorful options like salmon chowder, cannelini soup and spicy garlic shrimp. Celebrating local chefs and farmers is a large part of what Fuud does to set itself from other meal delivery services. As Fuud co-founder Thomas Buchan says: "In our research, we found that demand for local food is on the rise, but farmers are actually on the decline.
