KFC is known for its fried chicken, but it will soon be known for its fried dough when customers get a taste of its funnel cake fries. KFC is currently testing a new ‘Sweet & Savory Go Cup’ out in its Baltimore locations that replaces potatoes with Funnel Fries.

Many fast food places have been infusing desserts into their signature fast food meals. For example, Taco Bell recently released the Breakfast Waffle Taco, and chicken and waffles in general is a staple meal in the southern states. KFC seems to be putting a more modern and original twist on the culinary craze.

The strips of funnel cake are topped with sugar and cinnamon and are paired with your choice of Chicken Littles, Crispy Tenders or Hot Wings. The Sweet & Savory Go Cup is available now until April 20th in exclusive Baltimore locations.
