Frito Lay recently created a new snack design for its famous salted chips so that they are now served as fry chips. Saying goodbye to traditional flat potato slices, these crunchy French fries still share the same crunchy taste as a conventional bag of chips. The only difference is that these chips are cut into rectangular slices that look like French fries.

The Ruffles Crispy Fries Chips revamp the aesthetic look and texture of traditional chips by changing the form to replicate the shape of a traditional potato french fry. Unlike traditional French fries these fry chips are salty and crispy without moist potato filling on the inside. The chips are covered in a cheesy flavor coating.
