The practicality of this gadget remains to be seen, but it is an interesting idea. Unlike the traditional fruit bowl or basket, the Fruit Stack stores fruit vertically, allowing it to "breath and ripen without bruising", claims the the Chiasso website. Obviously, it would take up less space on the kitchen table or counter top, but it doesn't look very stable. One good thing about it is that you can easily see each piece of fruit so you can select the most appealing one. And it definitely makes for a good conversation piece!
