Targeted at those in "food deserts" who are facing barriers relating to finances and location when it comes to accessing fresh and culturally appropriate food regularly, the mobile market is a different kind of food truck.
Designed by LGA Architectural Partners, the bus market offers affordable and nutritious food. The fresh produce programs were developed in collaboration with the City of Toronto as well as United Way Toronto. The bus travels to a list of pre-determined locations in different city neighborhoods. There are year-round Good Food Markets in addition to the mobile variety and seasonal ones as well.
