Rideshare giant Uber is celebrating its sixth annual 'Free Cone Fridays' ice cream giveaway.
For this year's instalment, Uber has upped the ante by offering customers free ice cream every Friday for the rest of the summer. Beginning at 11:00 am, riders who request and are matched with an Uber ice cream truck will receive a free cone for themselves and four friends. Additionally, drivers will give out reusable plastic ice cream cones that riders can redeem for free soft serve cones at McDonald's. Using the code 'Silicone,' these lucky riders will be able to redeem one free cone every Friday for the rest of the summer.
