Esports organization FPX has rebranded its Chinese VALORANT roster ZHUQUE as the game gets closer and closer to its Chinese release this year. ZHUQUE will carry the FPX name in order to bolster its presence in the Asian VALORANT ecosystem and move away from the European market. ZHUQUE was launched by FPX in 2020 and previously competed in the low-tier invitational tournaments within the VALORANT scene. FPX also competes in the League of Legends’ LPL franchise tournament and CS:GO.
“As VALORANT has been set to launch in China, ZHUQUE will take over the banner of FPX VALORANT and continue to compete in the VALORANT esports scene under the name of FPX. Our path to VALORANT was never easy, but now, we’re ready to set foot on a new adventure!” said FPX in a statement.
