Tito's Handmade Vodka built Fourteen Acres Farm, a 14-acre fruit and vegetable farm, with he intention of making fresh food available to its employees. Cultivated by a team of seven farmers, the farm produces more than 25 types of fruits and vegetables—and on a weekly basis, employees have the chance to take home fresh produce at no cost.
“The idea to build the Fourteen Acres Farm was sparked by our commitment to support the well-being of our team members. Realizing that there aren’t many options for fresh food near our distillery, we saw an opportunity to provide them with easy access to fresh, healthy produce,” Amy Lukken, Chief Joyologist at Tito’s Handmade Vodka, told VegNews.
Beyond getting fresh produce, employees also benefit from info cards that provide inspiration on the best ways to make the most of the fruits and veggies.
