Found Object Art by Debbie Ridpath Ohi Uses Foliage, Technology and More

Artists can find inspiration just about anywhere, which the Found Object Art series proves. As its title gives away, the illustrations are made around various found objects from Apple plugs, leaves and lemon peels. These random items are given life through these drawings. For instance, the Apple plug is turned into a singing bird with the leaves become hair and even clothing.
Drawn by Debbie Ridpath Ohi, a children's book writer and illustrator based in Toronto, Canada, the Found Object Art series is a fun project that fuels creativity and imagination. An especially good exercise for those hitting a roadblock when it comes to similar artistic outlets, the artist explains, "There is potential art EVERYWHERE [...] you just need to look." The work itself is pretty simple.
