This multi-million dollar floating staircase is located at the Tommy Hilfiger flagship store in New York. It is a unique architectural wonder--the only one of its kind in the world.
Americon Contractors, with collaboration from Callison Architecture Inc., was joined by a team of industrial designers, mechanical engineers and structural engineers all based out of Toronto, Canada. They all came together to make this floating staircase at the Tommy Hilfiger flagship store a reality.
Designer Adam Shepperdley of Features Walters was the lead designer and project manager. He created the 3D model on which the staircase was based.
