Filo dough is that ridiculously yummy flaky pastry common in Greek food (think spanakopita and baklava). Designer Barber Osgerby used the delectable foodstuff as inspiration for a couch: the Filo Sofa.
The Filo Sofa consists of a structurally simple wood base. Placed onto that base are layers and layers of comfortable fabric. Osgerby used varying shades of blue and green in the layers of the Filo Sofa, creating a rich texture that provokes thoughts of the ocean.
