adidas Unveil Sneakers Honoring Jalen Green’s Filipino Roots

adidas has revealed a pair of sneakers that pays tribute to the Filipino heritage of Houston Rockets' Jalen Green. Currently, in the NBA, there are only three NBA players of Filipino descent. The sneakers will also pay tribute to AAPI Heritage Month through this pair of adidas BYW Select model.
The sneakers arrive in a mismatched color scheme, with the left sneaker coming in blue uppers with a red lacing system and the right sneaker in red uppers and a blue lacing system. The colors of the sneakers are chosen to resemble the Philippines flag, which has red, blue, and yellow colors. Both sneakers have white midsoles with touches of yellow as well as on the soles. Other details include a white pull tab and neoprene heel counter.
