A New Guess Store in Hong Kong Uses Alibaba's FashionAI

A newly developed FashionAI will now be featured in a Guess store in Hong Kong and will build an entire outfit for users while they shop. Developed by Alibaba, the FashionAI employs computer vision and a smart mirror to recognize specific items held up by the customer. The smart mirror can then recognize color, style and traits of a specific item and suggest others that would complement the piece. The system also allows users to pice a piece through the smart mirror and will create a whole ensemble based around it.
The FashionAI will also be accompanied with additional technology. This extra tech includes Bluetooth, RFID and motion sensors. These additional pieces of tech ultimately enhance the FashionAI and smart mirror and makes shopping with the device incredibly intuitive.
