With her controversial Hello Kitty music video and now an awkward series of fan photos, Avril Lavigne has been getting all sorts of attention on the Internet as of late.
Although a lot of Avril's fans are young teens, the awkwardness doesn't come from them so much as the situation. For a price of $400, Avril's Brazilian fans were invited to a meet and greet, but there was no touching or hugging allowed for the photos. What resulted was a lot of uncomfortable poses from both the musician and her fans, including lots of leaning, enthusiastic thumbs ups and fans sort of standing in close proximity to Avril when a camera happened to be snapped.
