3D printing is an awe-inspiring emerging technology, but 3D printers have not yet become a household item—until that time, there's the Fab Lab in Israel, which makes this technology available to the public. The Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory) is set up with a wide range of technology, including 3D printers, scanners, laser cutters and computer workstations for public, educational and industrial use. Available for use by everyone from engineers to absolute beginners, the MadaTech Fab Lab includes some staff-led workshops to familiarize absolute beginners with the technology, as well as classes to develop objects week by week.
