Emergency scenarios in urban areas can leave pets stranded and more likely to experience injury, so the 'Escapet' carrier bag has been designed as a way to help owners bring their furry friend with them when evacuating.
The bag is crafted from Tetoron material that's resistant to abrasions and lightweight in design, and features water along with other essential items like food and a first-aid kit within. The upper section has a pet carrier section that is perfect for cats or small dogs to let owners place them on their back when evacuating to eliminate the need to physically carry them in their hands.
The 'Escapet' carrier bag is the design work of Tsai Ching Lin and Yip Wan Fen, and is the winner of the 2019 Red Dot Design Award.
