The popularity of escape rooms has been translated into everything from branded experiences to board games and apps, and Ravensburger is now gamifying the traditional jigsaw with its Escape Puzzles.
Rather than just challenging puzzle lovers to complete a picture, these Escape Puzzles introduce a storyline. In the case of the Space Observatory Escape Puzzle, a powerful laser must be assembled to save the entire planet from a fast-approaching fireball. For an added challenge, the image on the puzzle box isn't the same as the puzzle picture, meaning that the clues included in the leaflet included must be deciphered first. For added clues, a QR code can be scanned for extra help and the final answer is provided in case one of the six mysteries poses too much of a challenge.
