The art behind leaving a butt imprint on a chair was never evident to me until now. As a part of the “Leave Your Shape Behind” collection, Erwin Zwiers has designed this arrangement of chairs (and one possible table, I’m not too sure) that mimics the imprint one leaves after sitting in sand.
It’s a very interesting concept because before now I would’ve never thought about the imprint in the sand. The chairs feature really unorthodox frames and the cushions are unique. They come in gold, silver, black and red.
I’m kind of a fan. It’s quirky and it would probably add a special conceptual element to a room.
