Recent graduate Erika Janavi showcased her latest collection on C-Heads. The unique collection features embroidery, knitted lace, screen-printed garments and latex floral patterns done by hand. When discussing her vision, Janavi reveals, “My collection was inspired by body canvas like skin, veins, tattoos and I interpreted my illusion of preserved skin worn as a garment."
Models Maxine Anastasia and Jessica Tinkler look like living dolls, posing with stiff body language and vacant, dead-eyed expressions. To finish off, Andrea Csoka-Nemeshegyi provided the girls with a rosy makeup look that manages to look startlingly funereal. Overall, the editorial possesses an ominous vibe that will haunt you long after you've finished browsing through it.
