The encrypted browser, Tor, is releasing a version for Android devices. Having the browser directly available on Android does away with the need for third-party apps, that are required to operate the browser on mobile devices. The privacy-centric browser operates unlike conventional browsers. Where most browsers connect users directly to the internet, Tor uses go between links to offer privacy to users. However, the browser appears to users much like conventional browsers and is built with Firefox's design in mind.
The mobile version of the encrypted browser is not available to Apple users due to device restrictions. Apple devices restrict access for apps to make use of computing procedures on the device. The Tor mobile browser would need this access, because of this Tor mobile will not be available to Apple users.
