Laura McQuarrie — July 5, 2017 — Pop Culture
'Emotify' is a fun family-friendly board game from Jumbo Games that embraces "the language of the future" and challenges players to use only emoji symbols to recreate words in categories like leisure, people, places, actions, brands and friends.
To begin, players are to split themselves into two teams and collects 10 "emoti chips" from the included bag. After spinning a wheel to determine the category, one team must arrange the chips and see if the opposing team can correctly make a guess as to what they are trying to show. As Jumbo Games describes, the game for players ages 10 and up can be used by as few as four players, or at most, up to 20.
The Emotify board game also includes a timer, writing boards and an erasable pen for gameplay.
