Dubai’s Esports Management Group (EMG) has announced the launch of the EMG League in order to promote more esports-based opportunities to the Middle East and North African regions. The EMG League will offer three unique events: the EMG Open, EMG Pro, and the EMG Legends Cup. The EMG Open will act as an entry event that will allow players of all levels to compete, while the EMG Pro will have an invitation-only format with winners being granted points to qualify in the EMG Legends Cup.
The EMG Legends Cup will feature the best eight teams of the season and will be hosted at the EMG Esports Festival in Dubai. EMG is busy this year, as the group officially announced an EMG Pro tournament for regional PUBG Mobile teams. The group has not confirmed whether the EMG League will expand to include other game titles in the future.
