Elsa Urquijo Architects have completed a church in Spain for the charity Padre Rubinos, where the group will also have office space. The design is compact yet beautiful at the same time, with a white-washed shade throughout.
One of the main goals of the space was to have everything exude quite a calm nature, and to do this the architects chose not to overly decorate. Instead they kept everything simple, using a minimalist aesthetic throughout. This helps people so that when they visit they can concentrate more on the act of prayer and worship rather than be distracted by any ornate details.
