The Edgar Street Towers will be an impressive sight on the streets of New York, especially since it will be located directly south of the World Trade Center. But I have to admit, I think this design will steal the show.
Commissioned by Downtown Alliance and designed by IwamotoScott Architecture, the Edgar Street Towers is a sustainable skyscraper that features bio-filtration that will continuously bring in fresh air. What's more, a special fiber-optic layer draws daylight in while solar-charged battery packs light the building up at night.
