Segway Europe has launched a brand new e-scooter that is designed to be able to zoom along from a stationary position to its full speed in a reduced duration of time, enabling riders to attain top speed without having to wait for seeming eons to hit their stride.
The 'E300SE' e-scooter is equipped with a pair of lithium-ion batteries that offer a range of up to 130 km, with users able to also throw in a third battery to gain an extra 65 km of range. Segway says the batteries are equipped with a high-tech battery management mechanism "to give extra protection, maximize safety, and expand the lifetime of the battery."
However, where Segway's new e-scooter really impresses is in its accelerative abilities, with the two-wheeler capable of sprinting from zero to 50 km/h in under three seconds which is massively eye-catching for this particular vehicular category.
