Although the most environmentally-friendly printer would probably be the non-printer, this Eco Printer comes pretty close. Almost the machine equivalent of a pencil, it can print, erase and re-print on the same piece of paper. It uses UV irradiation to accomplish this admirable feature.
Designed by Sharsha Lee for Liteon Technology Corp., the Eco Printer is a great way to bridge the way to eliminating the need for paper in homes, schools and businesses. It is a 2010 Red Dot Concept Design winning entry.
